An evening with filmmaker Emir Cakaroz who will present two recent films, essays, filmic and personal both.

Emir is a graduate of the MFA program of the UWM Department of Film. Currently, he is an instructor in the Film Department.

Two Photographs

Two Photographs is a personal documentary about the immigration of the filmmaker's family from Bulgaria to Turkey. It tells the story of being a stranger both in a foreign country and a homeland.

One Money is a documentary video about estate, consignment and farm auctions in Wisconsin. The video focuses on the objects for sale and peoples' interactions in different locations and circumstances.
