Poets Read Some Stuff Someplace in Milwaukee returns with the deeply inspirational and wildly talented Brit Nicole. She has brought her brand of bombastic and ephemeral spoken word to a wide variety of stages and launched the long-running PENtastic! open mic as a member of the Still Waters Collective. Beyond poetry, Brit's community advocacy has long been a light throughout the heart of Milwaukee and we couldn’t be more excited to bring her to the Var Gallery stage.

Joining her will be Madison poet Derrick Austin and Maria Ortiz to round out what is sure to be a deeply dynamic night of performed poetry. As always, the Var Gallery space is all-ages with a full bar available to patrons over 21.

The gallery will feature the Var Gallery Collective Exhibition, highlighting work from Var’s artists in residence. As always, the Poets Read Some Stuff series remains curated by Sam Pekarske with photography provided by Lily Shea
