In celebration of Latino/x Heritage Month and National Coming Out Day, Latina Lesbian poet Carmen A. Murguía will lead a discussion about "whole-self" storytelling and how to pursue a writing practice that incorporates more than one marginalized identity.
Carmen Alicia Murguía is the author of five collections of poetry. She has taught workshops for Woodland Pattern Book Center, El Centro Hispano, University of Wisconsin-Madison, and has read and performed widely at venues including the Bronx Academy of Arts & Dance, NY, Daughters of the 5th Sun Conference, TX, and Agoshin College, IN.
