Unfortunately, Heid E. Erdrich's visit to Milwaukee has been CANCELED.

at UWM Libraries Special Collections, 4th Floor, 2311 E. Hartford Ave., Milwaukee, WI 53211

Author Heid E. Erdrich will discuss her research process and offer examples of ways she incorporates elements of her findings into hybrid literary forms of poetry and non-fiction. Heid will also present brief comments on Native American students’ use of experiential and traditional research critiques in their creative writing.

Made possible through Woodland Pattern Book Center with support from the National Endowment for the Arts and UW-Milwaukee Word Warriors with co-sponsorship from the Milwaukee Native American Literary Cooperative (UWM Department of English, Marquette University, Milwaukee Indian Community School, Woodland Pattern Book Center, and Special Collections, UWM Libraries) and the UWM Electa Quinney Institute.
