MQWP Meet Up with poet Oliver Baez Bendorf *ONLINE*
Woodland Pattern’s Milwaukee Queer Writing Project (MQWP) welcomes all LGBTQIA+ high school students, GSAs, and Pride Clubs to join our virtual MONTHLY MEET UPS.
Facilitated by LGBTQ+ writing instructors, MQWP provides a safe space for students to talk about art, writing, creative expression, and queer life with practicing writers.

Oliver will read from his poetry, and offer a Q&A and writing prompts for students.
Oliver Baez Bendorf is the author of two books of poetry: The Spectral Wilderness and Advantages of Being Evergreen. His poems have been anthologized in Best American Poetry 2022 and Troubling the Line: Trans and Genderqueer Poetry and Poetics. Born and raised in Iowa, he teaches in the low-residency MFA Program for Writers at Warren Wilson College, and lives in Olympia, Washington.
