Youth Workshop: Generative Poetry with Aleena Ahmed *IN PERSON at MPL*

In person at East Library (2320 N. Cramer St. Milwaukee, WI 53211) 

Led by the 2024-25 Milwaukee Youth Poet Laureate Aleena Ahmed, the workshop is open to poets ages 13-19. This generative poetry workshop will focus on writing a "yapper" poem by borrowing surrealist writing techniques, poets will learn to begin building their poetic intuition. The workshop will also serve as an info session for students to learn more about the MYPL program.
