Milwaukee Queer Writing Project - Monthly Meet Ups - March 16, 2023

Virtual workshop with poet and MQWP Director CJ SCRUTON

CJ will offer readings from queer and trans poets before leading a discussion and workshop where students will work on their own self-portrait poems. Following the lead of poets like KB Brookins and mai c. doan, we’ll consider how poetry and art can help us write ourselves and our place in the world. The workshop will be held online via Zoom on Thursday, April 20, 2023 from 4:30–6 pm. Registration is limited to twenty students.
